We know choosing a wellness practice is a big decision. Here are some answers to the questions we hear most often about SEO and Wellness, our approach, and how we support your care.

Our Care Approach & Team

What do you mean by “comprehensive and inclusive care”?

At SEO and Wellness, comprehensive care means we look at the whole picture—your mind, body, and emotional well-being—rather than treating symptoms in isolation. Inclusive care means every person is welcome here. Our practice is body-positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and committed to creating a safe, respectful space for all identities, sizes, and backgrounds. You’re never just a diagnosis to us—you’re a whole person with a story that matters.

How does a multi-provider practice work? Will I see the same provider every time?

Because we’re a multi-provider practice, you’ll have access to a diverse team of professionals—therapists, psychiatrists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, functional medicine providers, and more. Our providers collaborate closely, sharing insights so your care feels connected rather than fragmented. Many people choose one provider as their main point of contact, but you’ll also benefit from a team that communicates behind the scenes to make sure your treatment is consistent and seamless.

Do you welcome LGBTQIA+ clients?

Absolutely. SEO and Wellness is proud to be a safe and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals and families. Many of our providers have lived experience and specialized training in supporting queer and trans clients, and inclusivity is central to everything we do—from the language we use, to the care we provide, to the community we build.

Are your services body-positive and HAES®-aligned?

Yes. We believe health comes in all sizes and that no one should feel judged or shamed in a healthcare setting. Our providers practice through a Health at Every Size® (HAES®) lens, focusing on sustainable, compassionate care that supports your overall wellbeing—not numbers on a scale.

Appointments & New Patients

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes—we are currently welcoming new patients! Whether you’re seeking therapy, functional medicine, or holistic support, our intake team will help you get started and feel at home.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can call us at (314) 555-7890 or use our online appointment request form anytime. New patients will be guided through registration, and current patients can also schedule through our secure portal.

Do you offer telehealth or virtual appointments?

Yes, we do. Many of our therapy, psychiatry, and nutrition services are available via secure video or phone. If in-person care is needed, we’ll let you know and help you schedule a visit at the clinic.

What can I expect during my first visit?

Your first visit is all about connection. You’ll meet with your provider, share your health history, and talk about your goals. Together, you’ll create a care plan that feels realistic and supportive—whether that includes ongoing therapy, adjustments, lab work, or integrative treatments. We want you to feel heard, understood, and cared for from day one.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Life happens. If you need to make a change, just let us know at least 24 hours in advance when possible. You can call our office or use the patient portal to reschedule.

Insurance & Billing

Do you take insurance?

Yes. We accept many major insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, and more. If you’re unsure whether your plan is covered, give us a call and we’ll be happy to check for you.

What if I don’t have insurance?

We never want cost to be a barrier to care. We offer transparent self-pay rates, payment plans, and will always talk openly with you about costs up front so there are no surprises.
